The weekend is finally here at last! TGIF! Not too much going on this weekend but visiting family and catching up. I have always liked the weekends even when I don't have anything planned at all but today will be a busy one. With that being said, these burgers are perfect to make because they don't require a lot of time to prepare. You just throw a few ingredients together and grill! So simple! Sometimes what I like to do is buy a little over 3 lb package of ground turkey and that very same day I would divide my raw portions into 6 patties and make 3 different turkey burger recipes with two patties each recipe. Then I would wrap the patties individually in saran wrap and place in a freezer Ziploc bag. Of course, don't forget to label which patty is which! Then when I want a particular patty, I just take it out directly from the freezer and grill! Dinner in minutes!
I know this particular recipe is nothing fancy and you guys probably already know how to make it, but just in case you are a beginner in cooking and new to Medifast here is a really easy recipe. Definitely not gourmet, but tasty nonetheless. This recipe is really just the usual taco meat you make for taco salads, except it is made into a turkey burger patty with the addition of green and red peppers. I personally love taco meat so I wanted to try it as a patty instead. Tomorrow is the last day of my turkey burger week. I will be sharing the A1 or BBQ (whichever you prefer) Stuffed Turkey Burger recipe which is my personal favorite. I hope you will stop by!
