Strawberry Jam Turnovers

I got this recipe from Donna at http://mytastytreasures.blogspot.com/. If you haven't already, please check out her blog. Her blog is so entertaining, funny and filled with a lot of great recipes. I guarentee she will make you laugh. I definitely check out her blog regularly . This recipe was delicious and yet simple enough to make, requiring only a few ingredients. It was a great breakfast treat for all of us over the weekend.


Strawberry Jam Turnovers

Ingredients:
1 8 oz package refrigerated crescent rolls
Confectioners Sugar
1 large egg white, beaten
1/3 cup whipped cream cheese
1/4 cup strawberry preserves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. On a cookie sheet, separate dough into 4 rectangles; pinch diagonal seams closed; sprinkle 1 tablespoon confectioners sugar. Spoon 1/4 cream cheese and 1/4 preserves in center of each; Brush edges with egg whites. Fold corners to centers; press. Brush tops with egg whites. Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Best eaten when warm.
