Taco Ring

I got this recipe from Heidi's Blog, Tried and True Cooking with Heidi . I love her blog because she has so many great recipes. I always look forward to checking her blog everyday. This such a creative recipe and is quite tasty. My husband and I finished it off pretty quickly. We will definitely be making this again. I would also like to see how this would turn out with meat cooked with spaghetti sauce, garlic flavored crescents and parmesan cheese. Great dish Heidi! Thanks for the recipe!

Taco Ring

Ingredients:
2 cans crescent rolls
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 cup shredded cheese

Toppings:
shredded lettuce
diced tomato
chopped onion
sour cream
salsa
black olives
avocado

Directions:
Cook and drain beef. Add seasoning and cook according to seasoning packages directions (mine you added 3/4 cup water and brought to a boil then simmered 5 minutes). Arrange unrolled crescent roll triangles in a circle shape overlapping them with the points facing out. It will look like a big sun. Place meat around the ring and sprinkle with cheese. Fold triangle points over filling and bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes (about 15 minutes if you half the recipe like I did). Place toppings in the open part in the center and serve.
